And it’s the year again where all the ACG fans around Malaysia gather around KL to meetup and celebrate this awesome event. This year we have a few guest and a bit more cosplayer guest than previous year.
*Spoiler alert, there’s not much cosplay photos in this post*
I’ve to apologize before hand because I do not have much photo to share since I am pretty busy and stuck at coffytiam the official CF merchandise shop. I only have few hours break for both day and took the stuff I love the most, figures. xD
Let me start off by introducing the place that I worked for two days. Coffytiam. Well it’s a merchandise shop where we selling off Comic Fiesta official product and this year these are badges, T-Shirt, art book and also cosplay guest merchandise to sell off.
IF are you wondering what are those, Cham is a collection of all the artwork done by local/international artist. They would draw a collection of 100 days countdown artwork. We selected them out and print them into a book so people could view it offline off the monitor screen. Free free to check out the rest of the artwork online @ Facebook.
We hope that local Malaysia would appreciate this printed artwork and goes out to audition. TOO BAD! There’s no one wanted to bid it. If you wanted to know about it feel free to click here.
It was being given out for free for those who purchase more than RM100 in coffytiam. How lucky! We gave out three set of those to those lucky winner.
Oh and there’s some “spy” shot of two of our guest Ikkyu and DMYO since the signing session is being held right beside coffytiam. Didn’t actually have time to que up and ask them to sign for me. T-T And I have to say again. DMYO is very cute. >/////<
Well that’s enough of coffytiam for now, let’s talk a look around. Actually I don’t have much shot, since most of my photo are badly taken. T-T so you have bear with me.
Comic Fiesta is actually a convention where the doujin in Malaysia could sell their merchandise and have the cheap price on the booth. Too bad that I could only capture all those seat before they are being filled up.
*Fun Fact – The registration booth for the doujin was being filled up within 15 minutes of the form being released*
And there’s this LoL area managed by Garena. You could see the crowd are pilling up and they are all sitting around the stage to see the competitive team fighting with each other.
This year we have GSC bringing in their merchandise to promote and sales in CF, and there’s premium art booth doujin area where they are given a bigger place, better table/chair to promote their product.
Oh one of our guest, ppy I did manage to have a private interview session with him on Day 0. I would have to say he’s pretty darn friendly and we talked a lot about Osu! and other stuff. If you are wondering what’s this about feel free to click here. Please wait while my partner is editing the recording and to be released in future.
Well that’s all for the overview. *Yes I know I am so sorry* But that’s all I have in my camera. If you wanted to see more you could Google it up for more. 🙂
And I’ll leave you with all the rest of the figure shot I have @ GSC booth and some cosplayer photos.
I heard you like miku. And I love this particular version. However it’s too expensive that I can only took this behind the glass wall.
And you can’t possibly forgot this nendroid. She’s so adorable.
Love the detail on the sword where it looks like there’s fast motion on it.
Okay, I’m bias I only like the front miku. xD
Okay I am not actually knowledgeable on these figures but I love the detail they put on it.
I’m particular interested in one of Danny’s project, the smart doll, where you could program your daughter to move according to what you wanted her to do. Well of course it’s going to cost a fortune. If you could see Danny also started this Mirai mineral water merchandise. lovely.
Let’s shift our focus on cosplayer instead. *nothing much down here*
One of our helper in coffytiam. I would thank her personally again because she’s willing to take our part of her time to let me shoot this behind coffytiam. And then of course thanks to Mr. Han my glorious sensei.
I have no idea which cosplay is this from but it’s pretty good.
Too bad I ter-shot all those passerby or those who wish to rest behind. T-T I could have blur them out using bokeh. Not enough skill there.
I’ve more photos on my Flickr account. Feel free to check it out if you wish to.
Well I would conclude my blog post right over here. There’s of course a lot more fun stuff to explore around the event hall. If you wish you could check out our official page on Facebook, Twitter, or website.
